Terrance Charles Harvey

Terrance Charles Harvey, of Cadillac, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. He was 78.

Terrance was born on March 31, 1945 to Leon and Leona (Alt) Harvey in Cadillac, Michigan. He was a graduate of Cadillac High School. Terrance owned and operated Harvey's General Contracting from 1979 until 2012, serving the surrounding Cadillac businesses with parking lot general maintenance. In 1967 he entered into marriage with the former Doris A. Nelson in Cadillac. The couple raised two children, Kerrie Jo and Bill. Terrance was actively involved in the community politics and served as the Wexford County Commissioner and Haring Township Supervisor during the 80's and 90's. In his spare time, he could often be found playing old arcade games. He enjoyed spending time outdoors going for walks around the lake or in the woods. He loved going to car shows and was a fan of antique and classic cars and trucks. Terrance cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Terrance is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Doris Harvey of Cadillac; daughter, Kerrie Jo Harvey of Kalamazoo; son, Bill Harvey of Cadillac; and a granddaughter, Jenny (Colton) Reisner; and many other loving friends.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Leona Harvey; a grandson, Zachary Henry; and a sister. 
  
A time of gathering will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home.
