Thomas "Tom" E. Powers

Thomas "Tom" E. Powers, age 86, of Prudenville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Tom was born on April 10, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, to Eugene and Mary (McLeod) Powers. He married Nancy Glass, who preceded him in death. Tom later met Linda Alberts, who preceded him in death in 2023. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the Alano Club for over 35 years. Tom enjoyed reading, watching western movies, but he absolutely adored his fur babies, Goofus and Sportsal.

Tom is survived by his children; Debbie (Rick) McMann, Thomas III (Kendy) Powers, John (Susan) Pardon, Susan (Jeff) Hoffman, Peggy (Rick) Robinson, and James Alberts, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings, Sandy Powers, Terry (Pam) Powers and James (Linda) Powers, and best friend Ed Vazquez. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Donna McMann, Aunt Bernice, wife Nancy Powers, and significant other, Linda Alberts. 

Funeral Services for Thomas Eugene Powers will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel with Father Rev. Matthew Cowan officiating. Interment will be in Denton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel.
