Tracy Lynn Parr

Tracy Lynn Parr, 53, of  Merritt passed away on Saturday November 18, 2023 at home with her loving family by her side.

Tracy was born on March 16, 1970 in Clare, Michigan. She grew up in the Houghton Lake area graduating from Houghton Lake Community Schools. Tracy worked as a Sales Clerk for Save-a-lot and several gas stations in the Houghton Lake area.  On May 1, 1999 in Houghton Lake Tracy was married to Larry J.  Parr. She was active in helping and serving in the Boy Scouts. Her special love was spending time with her family.

Surviving Mrs. Parr are her loving husband of 24 years, Larry J. Parr of Merritt; daughter, Samantha Gardner of San Diego, CA; two sons, Zachary (Taylor) Youngs of Houghton Lake, and Ryan (Leanna) Youngs of Houghton Lake; granddaughter, Lillian; sister, Teri (Shane) Sova of Big Rapids; several, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Donna M. Hannafius. 

Funeral Services for Tracy Lynn Parr will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday November 21, 2023 from Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel.  Memorial contributions in memory of Tracy are asked to be directed to the family.
