Victor Bernard Rabb, of Manton and formerly of the Burt area, went home to the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2025 with his family by his side. He was 80.
Victor was born on December 1, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to John and Edith (Willis) Rabb. On September 19, 1964 he entered into marriage with the former Muriel Pyne. The couple spent 32 years together, raising two children, Todd and Trina. Victor dedicated his career to CSX, working on the railroads for over 32 years as a maintenance mechanic, until his time of retirement. On July 3, 1996 he entered into marriage with the former Rosemarie Zylstra. The couple enjoyed countless trips going camping and salmon fishing in Manistee throughout the years. He loved being outdoors going hunting and fishing, and looked forward to taking his grandchildren out at every opportunity. He cherished his two special furry companions, Sammie Sue, who preceded him, and Mia. Victor will be remembered as a man proud of his faith and he preached the importance of the Lord every chance he could.
Victor is survived by his loving wife, Rosemarie Rabb; children, Todd (Kirsty) Rabb, Trina Rabb, Jeff (Michelle), and Dawn (Jerry); grandchildren, Amanda, Dawson, Tanner, Andrew, John, Jenna, Alexander, Douglas (Katie), Dustine, and Devin; great-grandchildren, David, Noah, Silas, Rosalee, Timothy, and Annabella; sister, Karen (Larry) Smith; nieces and nephews, Laura, Larry, Joseph and Angie; and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edith Rabb; and several brothers and sisters.
