Wade Robert Estes, age 56, of Lake City, passed away October 20, 2021 at his home.
Wade was born July 25, 1965 in Pontiac to Kenneth and Colleen (Bird) Estes.
He graduated from Holly High School and was a former employee of Howard Howd Construction and the City of Lake City.
Wade was a beloved son of Kenny and Colleen and was a kind and gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humor. He loved his Lord, his children and grandchildren, his sister, parents and all of his uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, niece and his country. Wade was always willing to help others any way he could.
He was an avid reader, especially history and sports and lived a quiet life with his dog, Pippin, but was always glad to have family or friends stop by or call him on the phone. Wherever Wade was, children and animals were drawn to his tender, loving spirit. He was loved by so many and will leave a big hole in our hearts until we see him again.
Wade is survived by his children: Jessica (Jesse) Thompson, Wendy Lester, Kyle Estes and Jacob Stohlman and his grandchildren: Gabe, Jazper and Zeke Thompson and his parents, Kenneth and Colleen Estes, a sister, Tracie Estes Rosol and beloved companion, his dog, Pippin.
