Willard A. Beecraft

Willard A. Beecraft, age 60, of Lake City, passed away July 5, 2022 in Lake City.

Willard was born August 27, 1961 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

On July 6, 2002 he was united in marriage to the former Nancy Swartzbaugh at Niagara Falls, New York.  Nancy preceded him in death November 8, 2020.

Willard was employed with Waste Management for 16 years and worked for MILife for 6 years.  He loved his family and loved all outdoors activities and loved to help anyone he could. 

Willard is survived by children, Jennifer and Troy Totton of Lake City, and grandchildren, Justice Koon, Justin Morris, Austin Totton, Lilie Totton, Rayce Sherman, Darren Richards, Lina Hamilton and Ruby Cobb.  He is also survived by great grandchildren, Carter Koon, Cooper Koon and Maelyn Koon.

His Canadian siblings also survive him: William “Bill” (Reta) Beecraft of Hanna, Alberta, Ruth (Murray) Chrysler of Oakville, Ontario, Wellesley “Ray” (Cheryl) Beecraft of  Almonte, Ontario, Wilene Leyen of Fordwich, Ontario and Susan “Sue” (Steve) Sabo of Pakenham, Ontario and his nieces and nephews: Gord Chrysler and children, Easton and Avery, Ellen Chrysler, Rachel (Fred) Barends, Steven (Katrina) Beecraft and children, Finley, Lennox and Atwell, Nathan Beecraft, Andrew Beecraft, Tyler Leyen and children Tucker and Emery, Mitchell Leyen, Christopher (Tori) Leyen and children Owen, Audrey and Wellesley and Logan Beecraft (fiancé Shanna Gillis).

Willard was also preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Wellsley Beecraft.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
