William Jerry DeBolt

William Jerry DeBolt, 69, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday December 10, 2024 at his home.

William was born on April 10, 1955 in Pontiac, Michigan to William and  Shirley(Nelson) DeBolt. He grew up in the Pontiac area.  On September 17, 1977 in Pontiac, William was married to Diana Lynn McLennan.  The couple moved to the Houghton Lake area from Phoenix, Arizona in 1989.  William worked for South Shore Animal Hospital and had his own lawn care business. William enjoyed working on cars, and doing all kinds of handy man jobs.

Surviving  Mr. DeBolt are his daughter, Destiny(Jeff) McRath of Houghton Lake; son, Lucas DeBolt of Houghton Lake; two grandchildren, Colton Urbanczyk, and Kayliegh Urbanczyk; sister, Debra Ann Fultz of TN; brother, Arthur DeBolt of Houghton Lake; several nieces and nephews.  William was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diana Lynn DeBolt; son, Jeremy DeBolt; and two sisters, Sheryl Stowell, and Leada Marie Engle. 

At the request of  Mr. DeBolt there will be no services.  Memorial contributions in memory of William are asked to be directed to the family. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
