William James Albert Sinka

William James Albert Sinka, age 60, of Lake City, passed away June 19, 2025 at home with family by his side.

William was born September 9, 1964 in Port Huron, the son of William and Metrona (Francois) Sinka

William was united in marriage November 12, 1988 in Lexington, MI to the former Cornelia L. Engeser.

William was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed spending time in the out of doors, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Conny, daughter, Kristen Gilbert of Port Huron and son, William (Marissa) Sinka of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by a granddaughter,

Paisley Gilbert; his mother, Metrona Sinka and three sisters; Metrona Weimer, Elizabeth (Dan) Filby and Mary (Adam) Filkins

.William was preceded in death by his father, William Sinka.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City with Pastor Steve Boven officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until the time of service.
