Wyatt Gene Mosher

Wyatt Gene Mosher, of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. He was 13.

Wyatt was born on October 27, 2012 in New London, CT to Dale Mosher and Mollie Seifert. He was a seventh grader at Lake City Schools. Wyatt was a devoted sports fan with a heart that beat for football. He proudly cheered for the Detroit Lions and was an enthusiastic Michigan football fan, rarely missing a chance to talk about the latest game or share his predictions for the season. One of his greatest joys was wearing his dad’s football jersey, number 35, a symbol of the bond they shared and the pride he felt in following in his father’s footsteps.

Beyond the field, Wyatt found happiness in archery and sitting out in the woods, where his patience and focus shone brightly. Recently, he had discovered a new passion for wrestling. He embraced the challenge with determination and excitement, eager to learn, grow, and push himself further with each practice.

Above all else, Wyatt was a loving son and a devoted brother. His laughter filled his home, his kindness touched those around him, and his loyalty to his family was unwavering. Whether he was celebrating a big play, practicing his aim, or simply spending time with those he loved most, Wyatt lived with a full and generous heart. He leaves behind a family and community who will forever cherish the joy and love he brought into their lives.

  
Wyatt is survived by his loving parents, Dale Mosher of Lake City; Mollie (Tyler) Roy of Lake City; siblings, Zakarie (Angel Tocco), Kaycee (Nael Shamma), Dylan, Lily, and Lorelai; a baby nephew on the way, Weston; grandparents, Dale and Kim Mosher, Roger and Jen Pearl, Brian and Kim Roy, Gerald and Marlene Dixson, and Amy Breau; aunts and uncles, Shauna (Roy Lutz) Mosher, Jesse Lenhardt, Alena (Chad) Birgy, Shannon (Stephen) Zarger, Stephanie (Jimmy) Buote, Amber (Drew) Patrick, Courtney (Jordan) Wagner, and Cody (Gabrielle) Roy; and many other loving family, classmates and friends.
  
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 beginning at 1 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior at the Lake City Middle School Gymnasium.
