Flint, Michigan - Doris M. Weston passed away on Sunday evening, February 14, 2016 at Victoria's House Assisted Living in Flint. She was 92.
Doris was born May 16, 1923, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Clarence and Mary (Harnishfeger) Willhite, where she was also a graduate of Pontiac High School. Doris entered into marriage with Virgil P. Weston on February 7, 1942. She spent her career working at Pontiac General Hospital until her retirement. In her retirement, she split up her time between Cadillac, MI, Pinellas Park, FL and, more recently, Flint, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 1/2 years, Virgil P. Weston and her parents.
Doris is survived by her four children, Robert (Christy) Weston of Alanson, MI, Terry (JoAnn) Weston of Lincoln, CA, Linda (Victor Jr.) Huddas of Gaines, MI, and Keith (Pat) Weston of Cadilac, MI; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to send a special thanks to everyone at Victoria's House and Hartland Hospice for their terrific care.
Services will be held at a later date. Interment will be take place at Highland Township Cemetery in Tustin.
