Edward William "Bud" Schrank, 73, of Prudenville passed away on Friday April 14, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side.

Bud was born on November 8, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan to Edward and Mary (Pasko) Schrank. He was married on May 23, 1987 in Saginaw to Helen M (Lindsay)  Cyborowski. The couple moved to the Prudenville area from Saginaw following their marriage. He was the owner/operator of Bud's Painting and Staining for many years. Bud was a member of  Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. His real passion was spending time in his flower garden and his vegetable garden.

Surviving Mr. Schrank are his loving wife of 30 years, Helen M Schrank of Prudenville; three daughters, Cherie Schrank of Prudenville, Lisa (Dale) Needham of Jenison, and Amy Schrank of Bay City; four step children, John Cyborowski of New Baltimore, Cynthia (Dave) Hales of Columbia, TN, Cassandra Ackley of Prudenville, and Troy (Krista) Cyborowski of Freeland; seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchidren; brother, Paul Schrank of Prescott, AZ; three sisters-in-law, JoAnn Jankowiak of Saginaw, Lisa (Jerry) Quinn of Saginaw, and Aileen Glover of Prudenville; several nieces and nephews; his special care givers, Suzanne Boddy and Evelyn Adams; and his loving spiritual care giver, Fr. Tony Cureton. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Nikita Needham. 

Funeral services for Edward William "Bud" Schrank will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday April 21, 2017 from Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel with Fr. Tony Cureton officiating. Interment will be in Denton Township Cemetery, Prudenville. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 3:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel.
