Dear Patty & Family,
Powell's was always a "must stop" to see everyone when we were in town. Both Gerry and Dick were among my parent's (Harry & Helen's) first friends when they moved to Houghton Lake in 1979. Always sweet and kind wth a bit of feistiness, Gerry will be missed. She and Helen were "up north" best friends for years. It's rare to find a new best friend at that point in life and they both cherished the love and friendship. One of my fondest memories of Gerry was how much she reminded my girls of their grandmother Helen.... right down to the "Geeessshh!" and the wave of her hand. Our deepest sympathy to Patty, whom we know personally.... your mom will be with you forever in your heart. All our love, Kimberley, Jim, Natalie & Brittany
