Mesick - Brenda Marie Osbun, of Mesick and formerly of the greater Grand Rapids area, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home. She was 51.

She was born on June 7, 1966, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Robert and Della (Uplinger) Farmer. Brenda grew-up in the Grand Rapids area before eventually making her way Northern Michigan where she settled into her home in Mesick with Scott Osbun.  

Brenda loved her family and raising her four children.  She enjoyed spending time watching the latest crime drama on television or cheering on the Green Bay Packers.  She will be deeply missed.

Brenda is survived by her children, Alan Farmer, Jacob Rogers, Jessica Rogers, and Heather Dorgan; her husband, Scott Osbun of Mesick; mother, Della Reed of Morley; her siblings, Robert Farmer, Ken Addis, Deb Stout, and Bobby Farmer; she leaves her first grandchild, whom she was eagerly anticipating the arrival of very soon; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Farmer, her step-father, Don Reed and a toddler sister, Kathleen.

Memorial services will be held at Cedar Creek Community Church, 2969 14 Mile Road NE, Sparta, MI 49345, on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 1 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of her brother, Rob Farmer.
