Mary, thank you for all the kine words and prayer. We rejoice now knowing Chris is heaven flying away. One of last things Chris said to me was that Jesus was in his heart, we all knew that as we know he had all of their too. How he knew the page numbers to the songs always amazed me about as much as being able to say the ABC's backwards. God bless you Mary. AG

Christopher's favorite hymns to sing at church services at Samaritas were "Jesus Loves Me" and "I'll Fly Away". He's no longer in need of that wheelchair and I can just see the huge smile on his face as he entered the gates of HEAVEN! He will be greatly missed here at Samaritas, but he taught us all how to love one another. We'll keep smiling and looking up.

Please accept our condolences. As volunteers at Samaritas we were blessed with knowing Christopher for 12 years. He lived his Faith, was an inspiration and a hero to us, and we will greatly miss everything about him--including his constant positive outlook on life as well as his wonderful sense of humor and beautiful laugh. We are so very saddened to learn of Christopher's passing. We, along with anyone else that knew him, loved him dearly. Although he had limited physical abilities, he possessed a very happy, positive and loving personality. The Lord has a VERY SPECIAL place for our friend Christopher. We shared a wonderful relationship with him as we volunteered at Lakeview Manor. He shared a room with Diane's father Floyd Bailey for a long time. We always visited with him as well , when there to visit Jerrys mother Mary Leavell before Each had passed away. May Chris now be at peace and at home with our Savior.
