Please accept my condolences on behalf of losing your loved one, Dorothy Sommer. I have lost loved ones in death and know the pain it causes. This Bible scripture has helped me and I hope it helps you as well: 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 says that God is the God of all comfort, who comforts us.

Dear Barb and Sommer Family
Your Mother's love will shine on in all of you. Barb, your caring, generous and loving spirit shows in the kind way you treat other people. We will forever treasure the handmade quilted bedspread she made for our bridal shower nearly 33 years ago as we have it as a keepsake. Sorry we could not be with you today, but you are in our hearts.
Much Love

John and family, As I posted on FB to Barb, so many fond memories from when we were kids and all the holidays we spent together at Aunt Emily's, Aunt Merle, your house on Snow and our house. I still have a recipe on the original card that Dorothy gave me back in 1972! The most wonderful thing is that your wife and mom believed in Our Savior and she is pain free. I am sure she is smiling down on all of you! You will miss her terribly, and your memories will fill you with the joy and laughter that she brought to your lives. Blessings to all of you!

Will: Grandma always closed a conversation with me with the words "Give my Boy a hug." I will hug you endlessly until I leave this earth and join her in heaven.

Dorothy, I guess I can confess now. I did wear your sweaters to school after you went to work. I'll miss our phone calls and I'm sorry we didn't get together more
