Clinton E. Corpe, age 90, of Lake City passed away August 16, 2018 at home.

Clint was born August 12, 1928 in Petoskey to Fred and Jessie (Bradshaw) Corpe.

He married Barbara on March 17, 1984.

Clint retired from Fort Knox, Kentucky in 1975 as Sgt First Class of the US Army, serving during WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was also an Army recruiting officer.

Clint enjoyed watching all his kids and grandkids play sports, boating and camping. He was proud to be in the Cadillac Area Honor Guard.

He is survived by his wife Barbara and children: Ross Corpe of Ypsilanti, Cindy Corpe of Louisville, KY, Clint (Tammy) Corpe of Bowling Green, OH, Brian
(Connie) Mohat of Canada, Shawn (Tammy) Atkins, Tammy (Scott) Allen,
David Atkins, Jackie Heistand, and Chip (Stacy) Atkins all of Lake City.
He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Clint was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Young Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Helmbolt officiating. A time of visitation will be on Sunday, August 19, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the
funeral home.

Burial will take place in the Lake City Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the Cadillac Area Honor Guard.
