John M. Jancarik, age 86 of Lake City passed away at his home Friday, March 28, 2014.
John was born July 22, 1927 in Flint to John V. and Agnes (Sekerka) Jancarik.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army.
John was a member of the American Legion Post #300 in Lake City and loved to spend his summer golfing and was an avid deer hunter.
He is survived by his wife Janis and a daughter Sandra (Jon) Cone of Lake City.
He is also survived by granddaughters: Jessica and Kelsi and great granddaughter: Jocelyn
and extended family Mariah, Amanda, Krista and Karl.
A sister in law Irene Jancarik also survives him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son: John Curtis, two brothers: George and Jerry
and a sister in law Ethel.
A Memorial Luncheon will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the St. John Lutheran Church in Lake City.
