Bob and the girls,
We are so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing; and the unexpected news about shirley on hospice. It must be extremely difficult and stressful to have both parents in hospice.
I carry many fond memories of us as teens, having get-togethers, and being best friends for so many years. May we all find comfort in knowing she is at peace now, and will not be forgotten.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Shirley. She had a heart of gold and always willing to help anyone out. Shirley's dedication to her church was inspirational. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. I was always proud to have her as a mother-in-law. Charles Culton

So sorry to learn of Shirley's passing. She was a Beautiful, fun-loving woman who served her Lord in all that she did and was. I have so many fun memories of her from the 80's and 90's going to our coffee group together every Tuesday morning, (we all took turns to host in our neighborhood). Also, when Ann Haveman and I took a group of kids for a hike in the high school forest, only to end up on Bob and Shirley's doorstep with a gang of kids. We were hot and thirsty! Bob and Shirley gave us needed water, rest and a snack, then we hiked it back home. Another time, Shirley, Erma, Rose Loveless, and myself went to Mid Michigan in Harrison Shirley's Subaru. On the way home coming through Leota way, the back seat floor caved in. We laughed so hard! May God comfort you Bob and family. Thinking of you also, Caroline Haveman as she was not just your sister-in-law, but a true friend. Thanks for the memories Shirley! See you again in heaven one day.
