Willodean Crowe, 83, of Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday February 26, 2017 at Grayling Munson Healthcre Center.

Willodean was born on November 2, 1933 in Southfield, Alabama to John and Arie (Webb) Thacker. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia and later graduated from Flint Beecher High School. She worked as a Teacher's Aide for Flint Beecher Schools for many years. Willodean was married on November 28, 1954 in Columbus, Georgia to James A. Crowe. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 450 N Roscommon Rd, Roscommon, MI  and enjoyed sketching, word searches, crossword puzzles, quilting, and loved playing Scrabble. She loved spending time with family and especially grandchildren.

Surviving Mrs. Crowe are her four daughters, Donna (Ricky) Janzen of FL, Kathy (Gary) Pease of Houghton Lake, Beverly Campbell of FL, and Wendy Inman of Flint; two sons, James (Kay) Crowe of Texas; and Bob (Shannon) Crowe of Houghton Lake; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Willodean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James A. Crowe; three grandsons, Gary Pease, Jr., Cory Gunther; and James J. Pease and three brothers.. 

Memorial Services for Willodean  Crowe will be conducted at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 450 N. Roscommon Road, Roscommon, MI. at 11:00 am Thursday March 2, 2017. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake.  Memorial contributions in memory of Willodean are asked to be directed to Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall.  Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
